Cusco besides the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu has a lot to see and enjoy such as Tipon, Pikillacta, and Andahuaylillas. Off the beaten path sites that are highly recommended by our specialist since the touristic flow in these archaeological and historical parks are low giving us that peace of mind and expectation while visiting some iconic monuments.

From Cusco, we will go towards the south where our first visit will take place in Tipon. Related to hydraulic engineering, the archaeological site of Tipon allows us to observe the ancient Inca technology such as Inca aqueducts, water channels, and a hydraulic system that will amaze us.

Our second stop will be in Pikillacta. A pre-Inca citadel which keeps its mysteries related to architecture and urbanism. Pikillacta was one of the first cities that established near the Cusco valley. A fantastic pre-Inca city with avenues and streets with an estimation, according to many scholars, of about 10,000 inhabitants.

Our last visit takes place in the colonial town of Andahuaylillas. Here we will visit the Andahuaylillas temple also known as the Sistine Chapel of Latin America because of its similarities in mural paintings and ornamentation which are the most impressive attractions in this temple. Then, after our last stop, we will go back to Cusco.
