Pachacamac - Barranco - Lima y Museos

Pachacamac was considered from pre-inca times as one of the most important centers of the Andean world. Located at 40 kilometers from Lima, Pachacamac was the most important Sanctuary in the peruvian coast dedicated to Pachacamac or “earth maker”.
Through this visit, we will understand better the ideology, religion and Cosmo-vision of the Andean man. We will also acknowledge and observe why Pachacamac played a very important role in the Andean religion before, during and after the Incas.
Through this excursion, we will have a combined experiences that mix the colonial, republican and pre-inca eras. Before we head to Pachacamac, we will have a small visit to the Huaca Pucllana pyramid located in Miraflores, Lima. Subsequently, we will visit Barranco and its bohemian streets, its parks and buildings making us feel as part of the Republican Lima.
After that, we will head towards South, to the Lurin valley where Pachacamac is located. On route we will have the pacific ocean to our right, we will visit the wetlands known as Pantanos de Villa. At our arrival to Pachacamac we will visit important buildings such as the Sun Temple, Pachacamac temple, among other.
At the end of our visit we will enjoy an exquisite lunch in one of the best restaurants in the Lurin valley. Then, we will head back to Lima to visit the Museo de Oro (Gold museum) which maintains several golden pieces and artifacts from different pre columbian cultures.
