Rafting in Cusco

Rafting Cusco

WE TAILORMADE ALL OUR PROGRAMS!

Every traveler always wants to take every opportunity to experience different activities, the feeling of a new adventure is also present in Cusco. After visiting Machu Picchu and Cusco there is always the question, what are the best or new things to do in Cusco? Well, one answer is to feel the adrenaline doing some white water rafting in Cusco.

The rafting in Cusco does not require any prior experience; our tour includes a personalized introductory class to jump into this new adventure. Also, there are two main spots to do rafting in Cusco. However, we prefer to travel towards the south of the Urubamba river, also known as Vilcanota, near to a town named Chuquicahuana.

The trip takes an hour, and after our introductory class, we will go to inspect the boats and learn more about security norms. We will receive our equipment and begin our activity. During that time we will go through class II and III+ rapids, however, during raining season (Dec-Mar) the rapids reach a class IV.

After approximately 2 hours, we will arrive at a lodge to enjoy our lunch and relax in our Sauna room or add more adrenaline to our adventure by doing a Zipline. At the end of our activities, we will head back to Cusco arriving at 18:00 approximately.
