Have you ever imagine to surf in the Andes? Yes, it is possible and fun! The stand-up paddleboard, well known in other countries, is a must-do activity in Cusco perfect for those who look for a relax and peaceful moment but at the same great for adrenaline seekers! The stand-up paddleboarding in the Sacred Valley does not require any previous experience, great for families!

Our activity begins with a pick up from your hotel and then a transfer towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Typically, because of its proximity and weather conditions, the stand-up paddleboard takes place in Piuray which is a lake located at 35 km from Cusco near Chinchero town. Once in Piuray, we will have our introductory class and safety, and then we will jump to the lake to know better how the board works.

The stand-up paddleboarding is an activity that does not require any experience and allows us to enjoy not only the landscape but also to tour over the lake.

After our journey, we will get back to the shores to enjoy our meals and relax the body while we appreciate the surroundings. After we will head back to Cusco or if requested we could visit the archaeological site of Chinchero and learn more about Andean textiles
